Today we had a museum gallery walk for students to display and inform the class about their PRISM projects. We had projects on giraffes, pencil resistors, and pH levels in cupcake batter to name a few! We learned a great deal from these young scientists and want to congratulate them on their hard work!
In geometry we have been learning the difference between plane (flat) shapes and solid figures (3D). Students built models of solid figures today with marshmallows, pretzels and toothpicks! We had fun creating our models and were able to explore faces, edges and vertices in a different way!
